Vikings even record

     After starting the season 0-3 against some of the top teams in the state, Hoggard has rolled off three wins in a row to even its record. The most recent wins came against Cape Fear Academy and Laney.
     The Vikings swept singles in both matches and finished off 7-2 wins. McKayla Zupan, Ellie Scialabba, Lydia Hartley and Brianna Smith all went 2-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles.
     Hoggard has another busy week upcoming with a home conference match against New Bern on Sept. 27 and a road non-conference match with Laney on Sept. 29.
